Casa Fernando

A Culinary Journey Since 1977

Our History

In 1977, Casa Fernando opened its doors in the heart of Marbella, founded by a couple whose passion for cooking and good customer service created a unique place. From day one, Casa Fernando has been guided by values of quality, freshness and proximity, offering each visitor an experience that combines tradition and authentic flavors.

Tradition and Family Passion

From the very beginning, the father of the family got up early every morning to go to the market and personally select the freshest fish and seafood. This commitment to quality was just the beginning. When he returned home, he left it in the hands of his wife to transform these fresh products into dishes that not only nourished, but also evoked the flavor of traditional Spanish cuisine. Each recipe was prepared with dedication and care, following the techniques inherited from past generations. not only the traceability of the products that they are selling but also that sustainable restaurant practices are contributing to the sustainability and environmental impact of their operations.

Recognition and Growth

Over time, the freshness of its ingredients and the cozy atmosphere attracted both locals and visitors who returned time and time again. Casa Fernando became a place of reference, known for its excellent value for money and for the close and familiar treatment that its founders impressed in every detail. The restaurant’s reputation grew thanks to word of mouth, and it soon became a beloved and recommended meeting point for those visiting Marbella.

A New Home on Avenida Mediterraneo

In 2000, after more than two decades of success, the family decided to take an important step to take Casa Fernando to a new level. The restaurant moved to Avenida Mediterráneo, a place where the family had shared many summers. With this change, the restaurant’s capacity was increased from the initial 35 seats to 100, allowing more diners without losing the essence and family atmosphere that always characterized them.

A New Generation at the Front

Today, Casa Fernando remains a symbol of the culinary tradition of the Marbella coast, now led by the next generation. The children of the founders have proudly taken on the family legacy, maintaining the same dedication and love for cooking as their parents. Every dish that leaves the kitchen honors that heritage, and the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming, making every customer feel at home.

Casa Fernando: A Place Where Tradition and Family Meet.

After decades of serving friends and visitors, Casa Fernando remains true to its commitment to quality and freshness, offering a dining experience that goes beyond the food. Today, as from day one, Casa Fernando is a place where tradition is honored, family is celebrated and every customer finds a corner of warmth and authentic flavor in the Mediterranean.
